Anna Stallmann is a media and communications professional with extensive experience translating complex policy and hot-topic issues to diverse audiences through expert design and execution of strategic communication plans.
Leading Nahigian Strategies’ Charlotte office, Anna works closely with the firm’s corporate clients pulling from her vast experience in the national security, technology, transportation, manufacturing, and healthcare industries and deep knowledge and experience working with national and local media outlets. She is a trusted communications strategist and counselor having supported both former and current government leaders at the highest levels, including most recently advising the Trump-Pence Presidential Transition.
Prior to joining Nahigian Strategies, Anna worked at The Chertoff Group, founded by former Homeland Security Secretary Michael Chertoff, where she managed the firm and its clients’ communication campaigns, including media relations for the firm’s leadership. Other prior experience includes numerous years at Atlantic Media, where she supported their brand and editorial expansion into cybersecurity, state and local government, and defense-related news, and service in the Department of Defense at the Missile Defense Agency.
Anna was recognized as a Presidential Fellow with the Center for the Study of the Presidency and Congress, and named in 2013 a Bryce Harlow Foundation Fellow. She currently serves as a “Women in Leadership” Advisor for The Eisenhower Institute of Gettysburg College. Anna received a Master of Arts degree in Political Communications from American University’s School of Public Affairs and a Bachelor of Arts degree in both Political Science and Spanish from Gettysburg College in Pennsylvania.
