Contracts Awarded to TEEL Construction, Digital Video Group, FX Design Group and Steelcase Inc. for New Multimedia Studio
WASHINGTON – Big Whig Media, a new full-service multimedia center coming to downtown Washington, D.C. this Fall today broke ground at its ground-floor site at the historic Willard InterContinental Hotel. This all-new digital, television, radio, and podcast production studio also named contract winners for construction, integration, lighting, set design, and furniture.
“Given the anticipated clientele for Big Whig Media, we knew when it came down to awarding contracts, we would be partnering with the best of the best,” said Keith Nahigian, founder and president of Nahigian Strategies and co-creator of Big Whig Media. “We selected award-winning companies who know their industries better than anybody else, which was an absolute necessity in order to maintain the distinguished reputation of the Willard and provide topline service to Big Whig Media customers.”
The following companies have been awarded contracts to develop Big Whig Media and ensure the ground-floor studio is the top place for content creation in the greater Washington, D.C. metro area:
