Anna Stallmann is a communications professional with extensive experience in creating and executing strategic communications campaigns across a variety of industries by shaping, articulating and tailoring messages to diverse audiences.
Prior to joining Nahigian Strategies, Anna worked at The Chertoff Group where she managed the firm and its clients’ communication campaigns. This included driving media relations for the firm’s leadership, overseeing the design and execution of events, and creating and editing marketing and thought-leadership content across issues impacted by technology, homeland security, and cybersecurity.
Anna spent her first years in Washington working for the Missile of Defense Agency at the Department of Defense, where she assisted in the development of a supervisory training manual on the multi-generational workplace as well as supporting marketing and recruitment efforts. She continued her career at Atlantic Media where she contributed to new product and brand development, market analysis, and media relation strategies. This included overseeing the project management for the launch and brand development of Defense One.
In 2010, Anna was recognized as a Presidential Fellow with the Center for the Study of the Presidency and Congress, and named in 2013 a Bryce Harlow Foundation Fellow. She currently serves as a “Women in Leadership” Advisor for The Eisenhower Institute of Gettysburg College. Anna received a Master of Arts degree in Political Communication from American University’s School of Public Affairs and a Bachelor of Arts degree in both Political Science and Spanish from Gettysburg College in Pennsylvania.
