WASHINGTON (November 23, 2015) — Newly elected Speaker of the House Paul Ryan (R-WI) encouraged a group mothers, who traveled from across the nation to sit down with lawmakers on Capitol Hill last week, to continue fighting for the legalization of therapeutic hemp oil as a therapy for severe seizure disorders.  These mothers are representatives from The Coalition for Access Now, a non-profit coalition representing thousands of families petitioning for access to therapeutic hemp oil nationwide.  Congressman Scott Perry (R-PA)’s introduced theCharlotte’s Web Medical Access Act of 2015 (H.R. 1635) in the U.S. House of Representatives, earlier this year, which now has 60 co-sponsors, including Speaker Ryan.
